A vocation that crosses time
Founded in the heart of the Venetian furniture district, Genus has crossed fifty years of Italian taste, keeping its artisanal vocation intact. From the early workshops of the Sixties to today's manufacture, each step added tools and competences without ever giving up the direct relationship between designer, artisan and matter.
From sketch to wax
From technical drawing to wood cutting, from wax finishing to final assembly, every step is internal and controlled. The supply chain is short, all suppliers are Italian and selected on parameters of quality and responsibility. Prototypes, finish samples and load tests are produced in-house before any production run.
A precise origin
Everything, from raw materials to logistics, begins and ends in Italy. It is our way of being responsible to those who choose our furniture: a traceable value chain, fair wages, attention to the environmental impact of every production step.
An editorial experience
Our showroom in via Leonardo Da Vinci 37 is an editorial experience: complete settings, materials to touch, conversations with our designers. We welcome private clients, architects and buyers by appointment to share samples, develop moodboards and define project choices together.
