Genus designs and produces high-end furniture for the home and the contract sector. Every piece is born in our workshops in San Giuseppe di Cassola, where solid wood, hand finishes and care for detail define a recognisable aesthetic. We work closely with architects, interior designers and private collectors, combining artisanal discipline with a contemporary design sensibility. Matter, hand, measure.
Matter
Seasoned solid wood, Italian marbles, brass and refined fabrics, selected one by one from short, traceable supply chains. Each material is chosen for how it ages, not only for how it looks today.
Hand
Artisanal processing, mortise-and-tenon assembly, wax and shellac finishes carried out by Italian master craftsmen trained in-house. The artisan's hand remains our quality control tool.
Measure
Every project is designed for the place that will host it: site surveys, prototypes, validations in the showroom. Nothing is standard, and every dimension is born to converse with its architecture.
